The Axis Powers represented ten country's with the powers being lead by three :
- Germany
- Italy
- Japan
Italy had a relatively weak army in comparison to the then world powers so the invaded a weaker nation, Ethiopia , the reaction was too sideline Italy and too sanction them which likely would have worked was it not for the fellow Axis powers.
Germany had a improving economy but when a crash in America called a crash in their country hyper inflation set out. Two/three parties began too grow in this time the Fascists (Nazi's) and the Left (Communists and Social democratic) in 1932 the left parties had 13 million votes or 30% of the German electorate to the Nazi's 11.7 million or 27% of the electorate. The Nazi's used the other parties to mass arrest the left and disenfranchise voters for the left. When another election was held Nazi's "oversaw" vote counting and with the vote suppressed the Nazis gained 39% of the electorate and (with the other right wing parties) passed the powers that allowed Hitler to abolish those same parties. And so ended democracy in Germany in 1933 (although many would say that ended in 1932)
While Nazi's themselves were already murdering and abusing minorities. Germany would go on too build it's first concentration camps too store those who were Jewish or of Jewish decent , those with disabilities , communists and (less so because of the ability too hid) members of what would today be called the LGBTQ+ community. Books by or about these groups were collected and confiscated (they were also often publicly burned). Then seeking "living space" Germany began to expand it's territory using new tactics they conquered much of Europe and Africa killing millions as they did so.
Japan planed too and then did expand it's empire around the same time as Italy and Germany was doing the same, there ally-ship was mostly out of their common enemy's rather then like of each other and in fact the Nazi's likely looked down on them due to racism. Japan took Taiwan and Korea. They invaded China and Singapore and killed over 20 million Chinese people in there attempts to conquer a large chunk of Asia. They organized mass rape via slavery. They also had a emperor.
China is a dictatorship that some still label as communist despite the reality of it's extreme amount of capital accumulation and capitalism. The Country favors business over average consumers only clamping down on business if they become too big and threaten the ruling party. It has one of the biggest military's in the world but still is inferior to the united states of America and it has set it's sight's on taking the independent nation of Taiwan. It has taken in the past the country of Tibet. The country has (like saudi arabia) used it's embassy's to "return" people. The country is not that good on women's or other marginalized groups rights (though notable better on them then with the religious and ethnic minority Uyghurs who serve as forced labors)
Russia is a sham democracy and dictatorship. It is very repressive when it comes too, for example gay people.In the last decade and a half it has invaded Georgia, propped up a dictator in Belarus, invaded Ukraine and interfered in an elections around the world with one resent one in Romania. Despite being nuclear powered and threatening to use the weapons it has not (as of yet).
Israel is a far right theocracy that has invaded/attacked at least four of it's Neighbors in the past year, Palestine , Lebanon , Syria and Iran. The country, founded by a mix of settlers and native people in the 1940s started off by displacing people and continues to do so to this day, but has increased at an alarming rate, the amount of murders carried out by it's IDF. The Country has mandatory service , is nuclear armed and has estimated to have already killed hundreds of thousands in neighboring regions. It does not allow gay marriage and it's leaders are wanted for war crimes.
The United States Of America has not had more then two functioning parties for most of it's history as a independent nation post revolution. In 2024 sates loyal to Mr Trump attempted to remove millions of people from the ballot. That Same Year Judges in the supreme court, some of whom had been selected by Donald Trump ruled that the president was in fact immune from prosecution as long as the actions were an "official act" a standard set by them and them only. In February 2025 the President via executive order sanctioned the international criminal court. Which is The body responsible for convicting war criminals and people who have committed international violations. He also removed rules baring usa people from bribery in foreign nations. Later that month he went onto declare via social media "He who Save His Country Violates No Law" a few days later he declared via executive order that "only the president can speak of what the law is" this was followed by so called "independent agencies" requiring white house over site. All of this happened while the presidents "special advisor" South African Car Billionaire Elon Musk organized the gutting of departments (many of whom were investigating him) this is not the job of the white house it is the job of congress. While Mr Musk claimed to be cutting "waste , fraud and abuse" almost all of what he cut was in fact just things he disagreed with like humanitarian aid and goverment oversight.
The President has also sued media outlets that he disagrees with and the acting president Mr Musk has called for outlet's that gave an interview to Donald Trumps opponent to be imprisoned for a "long sentence" with the most popular micro blogging site (twitter) being owned by the Car Billionaire accused of censoring rival platforms and secure communications (due to a lack of trust surrounding the sites direct messaging) and allegations censorship of critiques of Mr Musk's actions in government.
The USA has effectively dismantled there election safety commission and concerns have been raised over the politicization of voting by mail.

The USA is following in the footsteps of Nazi Germany , Russia and Israel are following in the footsteps of Italy and China is following in the footsteps of japan. The major difference is that we don't have an England , a France and a USA too fight back and in fact the power they do have may join them instead of standing up too them.
But it's not just the leaders, their are of course the lackey's. The axis powers also had Hungary,Romania ,Bulgaria,Finland Croatia, Thailand and Russia. Some would go on to change their minds but the fact stands that we see the new chums today in countries like India and Israel.
Belarus is a Russian loyal state that has forced a plain to land that was carying a journalist who was a critic of it's dictator. Belarus has a large repressive state.
Hungry is the only Eu state that is seen as effectively a dictatorship with only people loyal to it's leader owning media and a deeply far right government in power.
India is a minor dictatorship where Muslim's are regularly persecuted and killed a activity not discouraged by it's leader Modi. The country is also deeply racist towards people of colour and bigoted against Gay people (though not as much as Muslim's). The country also has territorial disputes with it's neighbor Pakistan. India is the most likely to "pull a Russia" as it is a nuclear armed state with a strong domestic business. Without the us giving it something in return it benefet's little and can defened itself from usa attacks.
Pakistan would be a relatively minor (in terms of the USA) addition bare the fact that it is nuclear armed. It too has a repressive state.
there are many more states where as of now who knows who they will side with.
but whoever they side with we must be aware that while this is a simplification, history is repeating itself this time if you can, try to leave before the trains come and try to set off the bombs beside the dictators correctly.
